Our Unique Program
Taos Youth Music School is a tuition-free after school music program open to all kids in Taos County in K-12th grades. The kids find a unique space to grow friendships and a sense of belonging while developing skills that will last them a lifetime. We create performance opportunities and welcome them to take different classes throughout the week.
Dedicated Community
Our work is made possible by an incredible community of supporters. Dedicated volunteers give their time and energy to help our programs run smoothly, generous donors provide the resources that keep our classes accessible, and local venues open their doors so we have places to gather, learn, and create together. This network of support allows us to continue offering meaningful opportunities and building a vibrant, welcoming space for everyone involved.
Student Experience
Students participate in weekly classes designed around their musical interests and creative goals. Lessons are collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping each student grow at their own pace while exploring the music they love. Throughout the semester, students have opportunities to share what they’ve learned through live performances, giving them the confidence and excitement of performing while celebrating their progress with family, friends, and the community.
